Buying my first brand-new car was a huge milestone. I walked into this dealership with my guard all the way up after a very disappointing experience elsewhere. My previous dealership left me feeling like honesty and integrity had taken a back seat, so I wasn't expecting much. Then I met Nic. From the very beginning, Nic was professional, respectful, honest, and genuinely willing to work toward a solution that was fair for both of us. I asked a lot of questions, advocated for myself, and probably tested his patience more than once. If he was ever frustrated, he never showed it. He remained patient, kind, and committed to making sure I was comfortable with every step of the process. I drove away in a my new vehicle feeling confident... not just in my purchase, but in the people who helped me get there. Nic restored my faith that there are still honest, hardworking professionals in the auto industry who truly care about their customers. Thank you for making this a positive experience. McDonald GM superstore has got to be "hands down" the best experience when buying a vehicle that I have ever experienced. First of all I called to make sure the particular car I was interested was on the lot before making the drive. My sales consultant Dean Niederkohr walked the lot looking for the car and called me back to let me know that the car was on the lot. We were then met by Mr. Niederkohr who was very warm, friendly and had a calm demeanor. After the test drive, we decided to buy the car, but wanted to do a little dealing because that's just what we enjoy. We wanted to walk away from the dealership feeling like we had made a good deal, even though the car was already almost $3,500.00 below other cars comparable to it. After some back and forth, the manager, Rob Purdy came over to us to explain how far under Carfax pricing the car already was (which we already knew). He tried to explain how competitively priced they were, but I told him to "save his breath, I'd already heard that from every dealership we'd been to". Bless his heart for indulging us, having a great sense of humor, and for putting up with us. We told him that "haggling" was half the fun. He laughed and within a few minutes we had made a deal that was satisfactory to both the dealership and ourselves. We put a deposit down on the car and told them that we may not be back for a week or 2 to get it and they said that's ok and immediately went outside in the rain to put a "SOLD" sign on it. We were offered refreshments from Dean a couple times too, which I appreciated. The dealership itself was immaculate as well as the restrooms. We were never pressured by anyone or felt like we didn't matter. They were a great group of guys to work with and talk with after we had made our deal. I will always recommend McDaniel GM Superstore to anyone we now of looking to a vehicle. It was over a 2 hour drive from our house to the dealership, but well worth the time as the vehicle was ever better than advertised. If anyone who dealt with us from the dealership happens to read this, please realize that we truly appreciate you more than you could ever know and thank you so much for putting up with us that day!!
